Under the multi-year agreement, Cognizant will combine its IT, consulting and business service capabilities with TriZetto’s technology products. The combination will allow NEHEN’s health information exchange to process more than 8 million transactions per month.

“Cognizant and TriZetto will enable us to deploy an infrastructure that allows our members to share costs, and improve administrative and clinical processes for the entire healthcare community,” said David Delano, project director at the Massachusetts eHealth Collaborative, NEHEN’s executive director and management services partner.
