Nancy Birschbach. Vice President and CIO of Agnesian HealthCare (Fond du Lac, Wis.). Ms. Birschbach joined Agnesian healthcare in 1998, spending time as information security officer, director of IT and assistant president of IT before being promoted to vice president and CIO. She has experience implementing three population health registries, converting the health system’s outpatient practice management system and implementing virtual visits. Under her leadership, Agnesian HealthCare was named one of the American Hospital Association Health Forum’s 2017 Most Wired Hospitals. The health system now incorporates home telemonitoring, connected devices, mobile apps and text messaging for patients with chronic care and long-term health problems.
