Nabla, a leading provider of clinical AI assistants, has raised an additional $70 million in Series C funding, which brings total funding to $120 million, according to a company news release.

The company said its AI assistant is currently used by over 85,000 clinicians across more than 130 healthcare organizations, including CVS Health, University of Iowa Health Care and Denver Health. Nabla’s assistant supports a wide range of clinical tasks like documentation, coding and initiating EHR actions. The technology is now integrated with major EHRs like Epic, Cerner and athenahealth.

With the funding, Nabla plans to further develop its agentic platform with tools like a proactive coding assistant and context-aware documentation in order to assist nurses in improving inpatient experiences. The platform is credited with cutting documentation time by more than 50% and broadly improving clinician satisfaction.

Nabla’s growth reflects an upward trend of AI in healthcare that aims to reduce clinician burnout and increase efficiency.
