Multinational Survey: 91% of Physicians Use EHRs Either in Own Practice or at Hospital

About 91 percent of physicians reported using electronic health records either at their own practice or at a hospital in an eight-country survey conducted by Accenture.

Researchers surveyed 3,700 physicians in Australia, Canada, England, France, Germany, Singapore, Spain and the United States.

U.S. physicians showed the second-largest increase in EHR use (24 percent) and e-prescribing (33 percent) over 2010 data.
