Local news outlet King-TV Seattle reported that the issue was not caused by a cyberattack but by a service interruption with one of the health system’s vendors. Patients affected by the outage have been contacted, according to an Oct. 23 MultiCare Facebook post.

The outage, which has now been resolved, according to King-TV, caused some hospitals to suspend surgeries and procedures. Services were also limited at the health system’s Indigo Urgent Care locations.
