MU hardship exceptions due July 1

Eligible professionals who did not successfully attest to meaningful use in 2014 have until July 1 to submit hardship exception applications, otherwise they face payment adjustments beginning Jan. 1, 2016.

Eligible professionals seeking a hardship exemption must submit proof of circumstances beyond their control and outline how those circumstances “significantly impaired” ability to attest to meaningful use.
