Michigan Medicaid Expansion to Allow Reimbursement for Telemedicine

The Medicaid expansion recently passed in Michigan will allow Medicaid reimbursement for telemedicine procedures.

The bill, signed into law Tuesday by Governor Rick Snyder (R), stipulates reimbursable procedures must include real-time interaction with an offsite provider.
