The health system has partnered with tech-focused at-home care company Maribel Health to develop the new program that allows patients who meet certain criteria to opt in for care at home or in the hospital.
Under the partnership, Maribel will provide the program with clinical workflows, operating capacity, training, automation and technology.
Mercy plans to expand the program to additional facilities, according to a Sept. 19 news release from Mercy.
