Mercy Technology Services helps 2 hospitals implement Epic EHRs

Mercy Technology Services, the IT division of St. Louis-based Mercy, recently assisted Gastonia, N.C.-based CaroMont Health and Salisbury, Md.-based Peninsula Regional Medical Center with their respective Epic EHR implementations.

Peninsula, a 292-bed facility, launched its EHR Nov. 1.

CaroMont Health installed Mercy’s build of Epic’s EHR. The system’s 435-bed CaroMont Regional Medical Center went live on its EHR in 2015, but CaroMont Health’s clinics and physician offices went live in October 2016.
