The companies integrated Clinical Computer Systems’ OBIX Perinatal Data System with Medhost to enable enhanced clinical workflow in labor and delivery. The integration required a full OBIX and Medhost upgrade.

Cibola General Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital. Their OB-GYN physicians deliver approximately 250 babies annually.

“EHR interoperability remains at the forefront of the health IT industry, so we are excited to collaborate with Medhost to provide our customers with an integrated perinatal system that supports their commitment to patient safety while enhancing clinical workflow,” said Kim Sell, CEO at Clinical Computer Systems.
