MDLIVE receives $50M in new funding

Virtual healthcare provider MDLIVE, based in Sunrise, Fla., has received an additional $50 million investment from Bedford Funding.

MDLIVE provides virtual healthcare consultations with board-certified U.S. physicians and licensed therapists through a HIPAA-compliant, cloud-based platform. The network partners with organizations including Walgreens and Microsoft, as well as health systems across the country.

In addition to Bedford Funding, MDLIVE’s investors include Sentara Healthcare, Sutter Health, Heritage Group and Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors.
