McKesson names Kathy McElligott CIO, CTO

McKesson has selected Kathy McElligott to serve as the company’s CIO and CTO, effective July 20.

Ms. McElligott will take over for Randy Spratt, who will retire this summer after spending 29 years with McKesson.

Ms. McElligott joins McKesson from Emerson Electric, where she most recently served as CIO, managing Emerson’s IT strategy and information security for global operations.

Before joining Emerson in 2000, Ms. McElligott worked with General Electric for 22 years.
