Loyola Medicine earned Stage 6 on the HIMSS Analytics EMR Adoption Model, which acknowledges healthcare organizations that have improved patient safety and clinician support. The health system has used EMRs to identify patients for preventive screenings and to monitor patient compliance with vaccinations and blood pressure readings.

“Loyola was an early adopter of electronic health record technology and we have invested a great deal in optimizing its use across the ambulatory environment,” said Joshua Lee, MD, vice president and chief health information officer at Loyola Medicine.
