Saint Francis in Connecticut Receives Grant for Health Equity Fellowship Position

Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Conn., announced it has received a $200,000, two-year grant from the Connecticut Health Foundation to support a fellowship position at its Center for Health Equity.

The goal of the fellowship is to mentor and develop the skills of a health equity leader and expert in the area of health disparities. The Health Equity Fellow will also provide an in-depth understanding of the factors that impact the health of African-American men in Hartford.
