Here are three things to know about the executive move.
- Mr. Howe has more than 30 years of leadership experience in the aerospace, defense and intelligence industries.
- Mr. Howe last served as partner at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver and Jacobson, advising and representing clients in government contracts, litigation, mergers and acquisitions, investigations, bid protests and private equity transactions.
- Vincent A. Maffeo, the company’s current executive vice president and general counsel, will retire July 15. Mr. Maffeo plans to continue to support Leidos as a consultant.
