Resurgens Orthopaedics is replacing its current vendor software with the athenahealth platform, allowing Resurgens physicians to view patient data across its 20 locations as well as from affiliated practices and hospitals via athenahealth’s membership in the CommonWell Health Alliance and Carequality.

Resurgens Orthopaedics includes nearly 100 physicians performing 600,000 patient visits annually.

“Within the orthopedic space, we’ve gained immense traction — 60 percent of the ortho market in Georgia alone. We’re thrilled to serve our individual clients across a variety of financial and clinical performance metrics, but more importantly, to serve the specialty as a whole,” said athenahealth CEO Jonathan Bush.
