King's College Hospital selects Cerner EHR for Dubai hospital

London-based King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust chose Cerner to implement its EHR at its upcoming hospital in the United Arab Emirates.

King's College Hospital Dubai, a 100-bed facility, is a joint venture with AI Tayer Group, Dubai Investments and Ashmore Group. It is set to open in 2018.

Cerner's Millennium EHR and Cerner's Millennium Revenue Cycle will be implemented in King's College Hospital Dubai and its two multispecialty clinics.

"The networkwide EHR will help King's Dubai create a patient-centric healthcare delivery system and engage individuals across the region," said Cerner Middle East General Manager Ali Slimani. "We are honored that King's Dubai has shown such confidence in Cerner and we are proud to welcome them as the first private hospital in the UAE to the Cerner family."
