The Keystone Health Information Exchange recently launched its Information Delivery Service. The service provides alerts, notifications and patient information to participating healthcare providers regarding patients receiving care within the KeyHIE network.
The "push" technology aims to improve patient care transitions within the network. The service lets providers decide the quantity of information they wish to receive. It also includes a subscription management portal that allows providers to update their subscription preferences.
The Keystone Health Information Exchange is a network of more than 400 healthcare facilities in 53 Pennsylvania counties.
