Through Cognizant’s TriZetto QNXT Enterprise Core Administration Platform, KHS — a managed care healthcare plan — will be able to manage more Medicaid members and better fulfill Medicaid requirements. Within the first week of using Cognizant, KHS saw claims auto-adjudication rates increase by 20 percent.

“By combining Cognizant’s consulting expertise and its TriZetto software, we will be able to address our rapid business growth with immediate, tangible results,” said KHS CIO Richard Pruitt in a statement.

KHS serves more than 220,000 Californians.
