Here are eight recent news updates on health IT companies.

1. Jonathan Bush, CEO of athenahealth, said during an investor call last month the company will sell one of its two corporate jets.

2. CliniComp, a San Diego-based EHR provider, offered to enter into a settlement with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Nov. 13 if the agency agreed to a review of the company's EHR.

3. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs recently awarded CSRA a $158 million contract to help digitize its patients' health records before it begins its transition to the Cerner EHR.

4. General Electric released plans to restructure its operations Nov. 13. The company plans to place greater focus on its healthcare, aviation and energy businesses.

5. Half of phishing victims use Gmail, Yahoo or Hotmail as their email provider, according to recent research led by Google.

6. All three Greenway Health EHR and practice management solutions achieved 2015 ONC Health IT certification, the company announced Nov. 8.

7. Meditech introduced a private, cloud-based EHR solution called Meditech-as-a-Service Nov. 14.
