Falls Church, Va.-based Inova Health on April 12 launched its Inova OnDemand telehealth service.
The 24/7 telehealth service connects patients with physician video consultations via smartphone, tablet or personal computer, through a partnership with American Well. These virtual visits are intended for patients with common illnesses, such as abdominal pain, flu or rashes.
A physician visit through Inova OnDemand is $49, with payment accepted directly through the online and phone app.
