Scientists from University of California, San Francisco will collaborate with Bayer HealthCare under a new master agreement, according to a San Francisco Business Times report.
Few details of the partnership were released and no financial terms were disclosed. The number of scientific collaborations through an agreement such as this will depend on Bayer’s interest in UCSF research, but six or seven in one year would not be unreasonable, according to the report.
This week, Bayer opened its new U.S. Innovation Center, which is adjacent to the $1.5 billion UCSF Mission Bay research and clinical campus that currently under development.
