ABIA’s biomedical engineers and St. Vincent surgeons will work together to identify unmet clinical needs and problems that present opportunities for new products. ABIA will then provide market and intellectual property analysis, regulatory strategy, engineering design, prototype development and testing to help commercialize new solutions, according to the news release.

The ABIA Strategic Innovation Partnership will initially focus on orthopedics, according to the release.
