Samsung Health is expanding its digital health capabilities through a new partnership with virtual care provider HealthTap, giving millions of users access to primary and urgent care visits directly within the Samsung Health app.

The collaboration enables Samsung Health’s users to book, complete and follow up on virtual appointments without leaving the app, according to an Oct. 28 news release.

Through the integration, users can complete a short intake, connect with a HealthTap physician via video and review the clinician’s notes and instructions in one experience.

The partnership marks HealthTap’s first in-app integration with a third-party consumer platform.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
