Neurobell is working on creating a pocket-sized EEG monitor that automates neonatal seizure alerts at the bedside so NICU staff can gain immediate insights without delays.

The health system will study the new technology and compare its efficacy against a conventional EEG monitor, according to a Dec. 6 press release Neurobell shared with Becker’s.

The study will be completed at Parkview Women and Children’s Hospital in Fort Wayne.
