Three notes:
1. Spiral Genetics will apply machine learning technology to develop an algorithm that can analyze and identify genetic markers of heart disease.
2. Microsoft Healthcare will contribute access to its cloud enterprise Microsoft Azure, collaboration with its Microsoft Genomics team as well as financial support.
3. The partnership is part of Spiral Genetics’ re-launch after leaving its parent company Fabric. Spiral Genetics was founded in 2009 and was acquired by biotechnology company Omica, which rebranded to Fabric in 2017.
