Meijer has partnered with WellSync to launch a virtual care service aimed at providing customers affordable access to treatment for common health concerns.

The service, available through the Meijer website and pharmacy app, offers $29.99 visits with board-certified clinicians, according to a Jan. 19 news release. It does not require insurance and covers a range of conditions, including colds, flu, allergies and hair loss.

Meijer said the offering is intended to expand access for customers who face barriers to traditional care, such as transportation or scheduling challenges. Text-based entry is also available for mobile users.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
