Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic has aligned its Berg Innovation Exchange with its Business Development division.
The Berg Innovation Exchange, which connects innovators with mentorship, expertise and a global network of collaborators, will now operate in closer coordination with Business Development, which handles intellectual property, licensing, venture creation, investment activities and commercialization.
According to a June 30 news release, the move will create stronger connections between early-stage innovation activities and the expertise needed to advance technologies and launch new ventures.
