Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente Ventures is furthering its investment in digital platform Garner Health, joining a $100 million series E funding round for the care navigation startup.

Garner Health uses a proprietary dataset of over 60 billion medical records to score and rank physicians on clinical quality, then partners with employers to financially incentivize their workers to seek care from high-performing providers. The startup said its annual revenue is about $200 million, which has more than doubled for five years straight.

The company’s health system partners include Chesterfield, Mo.-based Mercy and Morristown, N.J.-based Atlantic Health.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
