The venture capital arm of Carrollton, Ga.-based Tanner Health is co-leading a $2.75 million seed funding round for AI workforce startup Worki.
The company helps healthcare organizations connect siloed systems — including human resources, scheduling and credentialing — and determine where AI agents can fill administrative and operational gaps. Startup builder RedesignHealth co-led the investment.
“As the venture arm for Tanner Health, we’re constantly evaluating new technologies based on how they perform inside real health system environments, not just how they’re positioned,” said Steve West, managing director at Healthliant Ventures, in an April 16 news release. “What stood out about Worki is that it’s built to operate within the complexity of workforce operations, not around it.”
St. Louis-based BJC Health is another early partner of the company.
