The AI Health Outcomes Challenge will invite developers from all sectors — including, but not limited to, healthcare — to propose ways AI can transform healthcare delivery and improve patient outcomes, such as using the technology to predict future health events or to streamline payment models.

“Leaders of the technology revolution — including tech companies, academic institutions, scientists, clinicians and patients — are leveraging cutting-edge technology to redefine healthcare delivery. We want to join them in this work,” CMS wrote on the challenge’s homepage. “With innovation central to its mission, CMS wants to be at the forefront of these efforts.”
