Cleveland Clinic President and CEO Tomislav Mihaljevic, MD, has been named to the board of Oracle.
Dr. Mihaljevic has led the academic health system since 2018 and previously served as a director of GE Health Care. His unanimous May 6 appointment expands Oracle’s board to 13 members, who serve one-year terms and next stand for election at the company’s November shareholders meeting.
“Tom’s perspective will be invaluable as Oracle continues to help healthcare organizations use technology to improve outcomes for patients and providers,” Oracle CEO Clay Magouyrk stated in a May 12 news release.
Cleveland Clinic teamed up with Oracle Health in 2025 to develop an AI-powered platform aimed at transforming healthcare delivery in the U.S. and United Arab Emirates, where the health system also has a presence.
“We’re very fortunate to have very strong partnerships,” Dr. Mihaljevic said at a Becker’s conference in November. “We have a great relationship with all the big companies: Microsoft, Palantir, and a growing and very interesting collaboration with Oracle and Oracle Health as well as with Ellison Institute of Technology.”
