Five more health systems have joined a venture studio collaboration to codevelop healthcare startups.
Founded in the spring, the Abundant Venture Partners alliance now comprises 22 health systems, with plans to add eight more, and has introduced a pediatric innovation cohort. Virtual cardiology startup Auxira launched through the platform in May via a partnership with Columbia, Md.-based MedStar Health.
The newly joined health systems are, according to an Oct. 20 news release:
— Endeavor Health (Evanston, Ill.)
— Henry Ford Health (Detroit)
— Nemours Children’s Health (Jacksonville, Fla.)
— Northwestern Medicine (Chicago)
— Rush University System for Health (Chicago)
