Improving access to pediatric care through telehealth

Health systems are increasingly realizing the value of telehealth.

Although only 15 percent of parents have used pediatric telehealth, 64 percent plan to do so within the next year, according to a survey conducted by Jacksonville, Fla.-based Nemours Children's Health System.

During a webinar sponsored by American Well, Carey Officer, administrator of telehealth at Nemours, and Shayan Vyas, MD, medical director of telehealth at Nemours, will share details about their telehealth implementation process and discuss the clinical and operational foundation necessary to implement a successful virtual care initiative.
