IBM Watson completes Truven Health Analytics deal

Truven Health Analytics is now officially a part of IBM Watson Health. Watson Health completed the $2.6 billion acquisition of the cloud-based healthcare data and analytics company.

Truven brings more than 8,500 clients to Watson Health. The combined companies will use Watson Health’s cognitive computing capabilities to pull insights from Truven’s health data.
With the inclusion of Truven, Watson Health has more than 5,000 employees.
