JPMorgan was the only financial company among Indeed’s top 10 companies that posted jobs with such keywords as blockchain, cryptocurrency and bitcoin in the last year.
IBM posted more blockchain-related jobs than JPMorgan, along with Cisco and consulting firms Accenture and Deloitte. Microsoft also made the top 10 list of employers seeking blockchain employees.
Demands for blockchain-related jobs are largely centered in San Francisco, specifically Silicon Valley, Calif. New York City as well as Newark, N.J., and Jersey City, N.J., are also top recruiting cities for blockchain experts.
