Humana taps Quartet for integrated mental health in New Orleans

Humana has partnered with Quartet, a New York City-based software startup, to bring integrated behavioral healthcare to its greater New Orleans Medicare Advantage members.

Quartet collaborates with insurers and physicians, enabling primary care physicians to connect their patients to local mental health providers. The Quartet platform also facilitates communication between primary care physicians and mental health providers, in an effort to improve behavioral healthcare.

This partnership is part of Humana's Bold Goal initiative, which seeks to improve the health of Humana members in New Orleans and Baton Rouge, La., by 20 percent by 2020.
