Bentley is an InTouch RP-vita model robot, an FDA-approved Class II Telemedicine technology. The hospital’s announcement of the robot was made following its recent partnership with Chestnut Hill, Mass.-based iDoc Telehealth Solutions, which is working to implement a Telemedicine Intensive Care Unit Program in the hospital.
Cornerstone is hosting an “interactive reveal” for the robot to demonstrate its role in supporting the timely identification, intervention and treatment of patients experiencing a medical emergency as part of the Telemedicine ICU Program.
