The program will feature town hall events in 50 cities during the next year. The events offer participants an opportunity to discuss best practices for cybersecurity information sharing and information risk management, among other topics, with local peers. At the events, HITRUST will also discuss its common security framework, which incorporates information protection standards from multiple industries.
HITRUST will coordinate each of the town halls, which are hosted by local organizations and facilitated by companies approved to assess services associated with the HITRUST CSF.
Here are the first six organizations HITRUST selected for the town halls.
1. Tufts Medical Center (Boston): Facilitated by PwC
2. Texas Children’s Hospital (Houston): Facilitated by Deloitte
3. Centura Health (Denver): Facilitated by Coalfire
4. Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (Dallas): Facilitated by Deloitte
5. Cleveland Clinic: Facilitated by Beyond
6. Microsoft (Seattle): Facilitated by Coalfire
