HIMSS has launched a new CPOE wiki that would streamline the search for CPOE information and insight, data, documents and valuable guidelines for meeting meaningful use, according to a HIMSS news release.
The CPOE wiki was designed as an interactive discussion forum, which connects users as they introduce or contribute to a topic on CPOE. Users can also find and compare content, share best practices and templates and review lessons learned on CPOE implementation.
The workgroup behind developing the CPOE wiki has organized the tool by stages of implementation and "building blocks" that follow implementation.
