HIMSS appoints Dr. Sebastian Krolop to lead strategy, operations: 3 notes

The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society named Sebastian Krolop, MD, PhD, its new chief operating and strategy officer.

1. Dr. Krolop brings more than 20 years of experience as a physician, adviser and a health and public services consultant to the role.

2. As HIMSS’ chief operating and strategy officer, Dr. Krolop will lead the organization’s analytics, media and support services in international markets.

3. Dr. Krolop most recently served as partner and an industry lead for healthcare and life sciences for Deloitte Consulting in the German markets.
