Hillary Clinton brings telemedicine into the political conversation

Telemedicine has been gaining traction with providers and patients alike, and now this mobile health trend has entered the political arena.

Hillary Clinton made a stop in Iowa this week during her campaign for the presidency. In her speech, the former Secretary of State indicated her belief in the importance of telemedicine, according to a mobihealthnews report.

“Telemedicine can help  — and we should streamline licensing and explore how to make that reimbursable under Medicare,” she said.
