Here's the CHIME leadership team for 2019, 2020

The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives revealed the names of its 2020 officers on Oct. 11.

John Kravitz, senior vice president and CIO of Danville, Pa.-based Geisinger, will lead the organization as chair beginning Jan. 1, 2020. Rusty Yeager, senior vice president and CIO of Birmingham, Ala.-based post-acute care provider Encompass Health, will serve as secretary and Sheree McFarland, division CIO of the west florida division at Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare, will be treasurer.

CHIME also highlighted the board of trustees' selections for the organization's 2019 officers, which had been announced earlier this year.

Shafiq Rab, MD, senior vice president and CIO of Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, will serve as chair starting Jan. 1, 2019. Marc Chasin, MD, chief medical information officer of Valhalla, N.Y.-based Westchester Medical Center, will take the role of secretary and Michael Martz, senior vice president and CIO of State College, Pa.-based Mount Nittany Health System, will be treasurer.

CHIME also elected three new members to its board of trustees, all of whom will begin their terms Jan. 1, 2019: David Chou, vice president and chief information and digital officer of Kansas City, Mo.-based Children's Mercy Hospital; Edward Marx, CIO of Cleveland Clinic; and Tanya Townsend, senior vice president and CIO of New Orleans-based LCMC Health.

Helen Waters, executive vice president at Meditech, will join the CHIME Foundation Board on Jan. 1, 2019.
