Patients visiting Healthgrades’ website to find a physician can also book an appointment with one of athenahealth’s more than 55,000 providers. The service hopes to reduce time and improve accuracy in physician offices, drive new appointment requests and increase patient awareness.

The partnership is part of athenahealth’s More Disruption Please program, through which athenahealth works with companies and investors interested in developing programs to help increase healthcare efficiency.
