Last year there was no such security testing before the site’s launch, which led to catastrophic internal errors and mass confusion among potential enrollees. The site has also been noted for security errors, including one in which a “white hat” hacker obtained 70,000 records through a Google search in early 2014, an event unveiled in congressional hearings around that time.
The site was also hacked in July of this year, though no consumer information was taken.
The site is undergoing daily security scans and weekly hackings up through the enrollment period, according to the report.
