Healthcare CIOs’ detailed to The Wall Street Journal what their favorite work-from-home tools were:
1. iPhone
Athena CIO Anil Bhatt cited the Apple iPhone as his favorite work-from-home gadget.
2. Laptop
Dave Williams, chief information and digital officer of Merck & Co., and Francesco Tinto, CIO of Walgreens Boots Alliance, said their favorite tech tool was their laptop.
3. Videoconferencing applications
Brian Rice, CIO of Cardinal Health, and Paul von Autenried, CIO of Bristol Myers Squibb, told The Wall Street Journal that videoconferencing applications were their favorite.
“I couldn’t imagine living without Zoom,” Mr. Rice said.
4. Desk
Mark Spykerman, CIO at drug wholesale company AmerisourceBergen, said a large desk that can house his preferred technology — three computer monitors — is a must.
