Spend some time investing in this and don’t be afraid of it. If you have sufficient automated testing, and then develop and subsequently roll out updates to your software, you’ll have the confidence that everything is working well. One key thing to remind stakeholders is automated testing doesn’t reduce your testing budget, it is designed to increase your release frequency.
