Guy Baroan, president of IT services management company Baroan Technologies in Elmwood Park, N.J.: “Don’t wait until a disaster happens to know if your backup and disaster recovery plan will work. Review the backups every single day. Review the disaster recovery plan (if you have one) once a month and update it, if necessary. Test the plan no less than two times per year. Be ready and hope nothing ever happens.”
