Health IT startup Quartet raises another $40M

Quartet, a startup that connects primary care providers, mental health providers and patients, gained $40 million in a series C funding round. To date, Quartet has raised $87 million.

The company will use the new funds to expand its core engineering and product capabilities across its primary care, behavioral health and patient platforms. It will also scale its machine learning team.

Quartet’s collaborative technology platform brings together physicians, mental health providers and insurance companies in an effort to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs. It operates in six markets, most recently launching in New Jersey.

F-Prime Capital Partners and Polaris Partners led the series C financing round, and Deerfield Management was a new investor.
