Health IT Incubator Rock Health Selects New Class

Incubator Rock Health has selected its new class of seven health IT startups, companies with products ranging from mHealth solutions to telemedicine services.

The new class includes:

  1. Ambient Clinical Analytics uses big data and analytics to improve clinical decision-making in the intensive care unit and emergency department.
  2. Doctor on Demand is a videoconferencing-based telemedicine service.
  3. Factor 14 is a platform to help providers manage patients who are on oral anticoagulants.
  4. Health Equity Labs is developing a FICO® score for health.
  5. Kurbo Health has developed mobile apps that help control children's weight, using a program from Stanford (Calif.) University that has an 80 percent success rate.
  6. Stride Health software helps users choose the most appropriate health insurance plan.
  7. Studio Dental is a "dentist office on wheels" that visits patients at their place of employment.
